GEORGE WILLIS CRAWFORD ~ 1965
Dancyville - Services for George Willis Crawford, 66, were today at Dancyville United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Kellum and the Rev. John Tripp officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Crawford, owner-operator of Crawford’s Store, died Monday evening at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Memphis after suffering a stroke.
He was a native of Haywood County, a World War II veteran and a member of the Dancyville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his mother, Amy Crawford of Dancyville; two brothers D.C. Crawford Jr. of Dancyville and Russell Crawford of Memphis; and a sister Mrs. J.S. Rhea Sr. of Somerville.
Brownsville Funeral Home is in charge.
