City employee of Brownsville was 65 years old.
BROWNSVILLE, Tennessee
September 30 - Malone Dancy, city employee, died at 4:30
p.m. Wednesday at Haywood County Memorial Hospital, following a long illness.
He was 65 years old.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Brownsville Funeral Home, Thursday, October 1, 1964, by the Rev. H.K. Sorrell and Rev. W.T. Call. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mr. Dancy was born in Dancyville in Haywood County. He lived in Brownsville most of his life. He was a Mason.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Daisy B. Dancy; three daughters, Mrs. James Frazier and Mrs. Lynn Binford, both of Brownsville; and Mrs. Benton Morris of Somerville; two brothers, E.W. Dancy of Pueblo, Colorado and James Dancy of Dancyville; two sisters, Mrs. C.L. Cogbill of LaGrange and Mrs. A.D. Duck of Green Cove Springs, Florida; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: John T. Carlton, Mose Stewart, H. D. Floyd, R. E. Clark, Perry Rogers, Pete Hunter, Donald Whitson, James Carlton.
