| Watauga (TX) – Harlene L. Pierce,
74 a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away
Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009. Graveside service: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Grove Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Harlene was born Aug. 4, 1935 in Edinburg (TX). Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her. She was a caregiver to her husband for 9 years. Harlene will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Pierce, Sr. Survivors: Son Floyd Pierce and wife Rebecca Deneke; grandchildren, Kelly Pierce, Kimberly Pierce, Ryan Pierce, and Meghan Pierce; great-granddaughter, Madeline Galvin; brother, Tom Ramsey; and sister Carolyn Short. |

Mr. Floyd Pierce,
Sr. and wife Mrs. Harlene Pierce purchased the Payne
place and lived in
Dancyville during the 1960's.
