Robert Arthur Reynolds ~ Obituary

Robert Arthur Reynolds, longtime Accountant and devoted husband and father died at 2:30 P.M., Friday, December 26, 2008 at the Methodist Hospital Fayette in Somerville where he had been a patient for two days. He was 64 years of age and died following an illness of several months.

Funeral services for Mr. Reynolds will be conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, January 1, 2009 at the Dancyville United Methodist Church with Rev. Edgar Graham of Memphis officiating. Interment will follow in the Dancyville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home-Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mr. Reynolds was born April 29, 1944 in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed undergraduate studies at Iowa State University and received his Master of Business Administration Degree from Drake University.

Mr. Reynolds was an accountant throughout his life operating a private practice in the Indianapolis area for a number of years. He was a member of the Chapel Church in Carmel, Indiana.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Kay Schulz Reynolds; two sons, Daniel J. Reynolds and Bob Reynolds, Jr. both of Indianapolis; his sister, Doris Murrow of De Moines, IA; his brother, Paul Reynolds of Washington, IA and six grandchildren.

He was also the loving father of Serena Reynolds of Indianapolis who preceded him in death.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers are Dan Reynolds, Bob Reynolds, Jr., David Schulz, Bart Schulz, Jack Berressem and Terry McMillen.

Honorary casketbearers are Irwin Graham and Rick Holtsclaw.

The family request that Memorials be directed to the Dancyville United Methodist Church.
