Mr. James L. Willis
Mr. James L. Willis, age 90, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2006 in Jackson Madison
County General Hospital, Jackson, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary
Alice Simpson Willis.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 8, 2006, in Springhill
United Methodist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Willis is survived by one son: Charles
Ray Willis, Brownsville, TN; one step-son, Jimmy Veach, Stanton, TN; one sister: Marie
Baucum, Memphis, TH: one grandchild: Sarah Willis: and three step-grandchildren: Mary
Veach, Jessica Martin, and Roxanne Martin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to
the March of Dimes.

Addendum to obituary
Mr. Willis was the bus driver for the Dancyville Elementary School. He picked up all
the KoKo kids, then later drove a bus for all the Stanton kids when the school in Stanton
closed, taking them to Anderson Elementary and High School.
