Mr. Perry and Miss Janie never had children but every child for
miles around were adopted by them.
They were very active leaders in the Methodist Youth Fellowship and the Dancyville
United
Methodist Church. For many years they operated the 'Hotel' at Joyner's
Campground. They
lived just across the county line in Fayette County. For many years their front yard
was the site of an
