Six Hurt When Auto Upsets At
Georgetown

Six persons were injured, one seriously enough to require hospitalization, in an auto accident at 10:45 o,clock Thursday night on Gordon Hill, on the Georgetown Road, half a mile northeast of Georgetown.
In St. Joseph Hospital is ¹Miss Roselee Haugh 19, of 512 Dizardie Street, who suffered cuts and bruises on the face and body and a severe bruise on her right hip and thigh, when she was trapped under the overturned car in which six had been riding.
Treated for minor injuries: Domini Ricci, 19, of 1529 Erie Avenue, driver of the 1937 model coach; Donna Jean Leffert 16, of Route 3: ¹Mary Ellen Bougher 22, of 14 Spring Street; Donald Romig 19, of 1825 Erie Avenue; and Joe Rose, 805 Bates Street.
Ricci was enroute south and missed a square turn to the right, according to State Trooper Harold Flinn, who investigated. The car went off the road, down a 12 foot embankment, through a fence and turned over on it’s left side.
Three fence posts and 50 feet feet of fence belonging to Herman Cook, route 6, city, were torn down. The car was a total loss.
