John Kerr, Jr. ~ Revolutionary War

The real purpose of this post is to let you know that we were recently able to get John Kerr, Jr. (1745-1802) recognized for his service in the American Revolutionary War. I, my grandson and a nephew have all become members of "Sons of he American Revolution" (SAR) with John Kerr, Jr. as the Patriot.

In addition we have applied to obtain the same recognition for John Kerr, Sr.(1722-1780.) John Kerr, Sr. has not yet been accepted, as yet. I pass this information to you and ask that you make it available to all the Kerr/Carr family members that you are in touch with. All descendants of John Kerr, Jr. are eligible for membership in the "Sons of the American Revolution" or the "Daughters of the American Revolution".

I am looking forward to being joined by other Kerr descendants into the SAR or DAR honoring those that preceded us.
