OBITUARY

DAVID CRAIG "D. C." CRAWFORD
Dancyville, Tennessee

Mr. David Craig "D.C." Crawford, 81, died Saturday at Memphis Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services were held Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at Brownsville Funeral Home. Interment was in Dancyville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Crawford, a retired farmer, was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Dancyville United Methodist Church.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife, Martha Duck Crawford of Dancyville, Tennessee; three sons, Craig Crawford of Indianapolis, Indiana, Bill Crawford and Chris Crawford both of Memphis, Tennessee.

The family requests any memorials be made to the Dancyville United Methodist Church.

ADDENDUM:
Mr. D.C. Crawford, Jr., was the son of David Craig "D.C." Crawford and Amy Hall Crawford. He had operated the Dancyville Cotton Gin Company for many years. In addition he had operated a Dancyville grocery for many years, his being the last remaining grocery store in the community.
