DOROTHY MOORE

Dorothy Moore, 88, retired teacher after 44 years, died Saturday, March 5, 2005 in Union City, Tennessee.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Brownsville Funeral Home with burial in Dancyville United Methodist Church Cemetery.

She was a member of Dancyville United Methodist Church, First Review Club, Retired Teachers Association and Haywood County Historical Society.

She leaves a sister, Una Moore Jakes of Old Hickory and a brother, Joe Moore Jr. of Dancyville.

The family requests that any memorials be sent to Dancyville United Methodist Church or Dancyville United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Miss Dorothy provided many items for this web site. Photos, articles, history, leads, etc. You will find credits for her on many pages of this site. She will be missed not only as a person but one who shared much of the Dancyville community history with us.
