The U.S. Naval Construction Battalion, or C.B. inscription reads:

SEABEES - CAN DO

WITH WILLING HEARTS AND SKILLFUL HANDS, THE DIFFICULT WE DO AT ONCE,
THE IMPOSSIBLE TAKES A BIT LONGER

WITH COMPASSION FOR OTHERS
WE BUILD - WE FIGHT
FOR PEACE WITH FREEDOM

Seabees is the nickname for the U.S. Navy Construction Battalions (CB's.) Formed during World War II, they were trained
in both construction and combat. They built naval facilities, airports, roads, piers, docks, living quarters and a host of other
projects, often under combat conditions and always under pressure to complete the job.
